Mickey Cake
Second birthday cake for my grandson, was his request! He wanted the mouse (Mickey Mouse) on the cake and I satisfied. What do you say? I hope you like it.
Ingredients
- Quantity for 1 sponge cake - requires 2 (see notes)
- 90 gr flour 00
- 90 g potato starch
- 170 g sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 whole eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- For the custard:
- 1000 g milk
- 80 gr flour 00
- 8 egg yolks
- 8 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 sachets vanilla - if you like
- For the decoration:
- tails of chocolate
- chopped hazelnuts
- a few strawberries
- granulated sugar
Process

For the custard: Place all ingredients in a blender turn it on and blend for 1 minute. You can also do with a whip.

...a proposoto della tua grande abilità nell'arte della panificazione/pasticceria, non hai da suggerirmi una torta rustica di farina di mais? Come sai, a Settembre saremo al rifugio e vorrei poter servire agli ospiti un " dolce di una volta " per riportare in auge i piatti poveri. Anche per antipasto, primi e secondi sono graditi i suggerimenti della CHEF IVANA! grazie e a presto!
